Gear Pumps

Gear pumps are mechanical devices with precise engineering intended to transport fluids smoothly and effectively in a variety of industrial applications. These pumps are classified as positive displacement pumps and are distinguished by the special gear mechanisms that they use. Gear pumps function by forming a sealed chamber between the rotating gears, which are usually made up of two meshing gears, one driver gear, and one driven gear. Fluids are drawn in at the inlet and violently released at the exit by the gears as they revolve and interlock.
